All tube recording channel w/EQ
The foundation of the VLC is the legendary Preamp and Power Supply design utilized in the VT series of Tube Microphone Preamplifiers from D.W. Fearn. Designed for sonic transparency and delivering incredible headroom, the VLC will produce stunning results with dynamic, condenser and ribbon microphones and will change the way you approach your mic locker during a session. Add the Pultec-style passive Inductor/Capacitor equalizer circuit and you get this powerful package. Both suitable for tracking and for post processing. In pairs used widely for mixbuss sweetening duties!
The VLC, like all D.W. Fearn and Hazelrigg Industries products, is hand-built in the USA in the same shop along side other D.W. Fearn products. It is smaller and lighter than other Fearn products, to make it easy for artists, producers and engineers to take it to sessions and live shows. It can be used to capture vocals and instruments and inserted on vocal channels or in pairs on the master bus for mix down.
