Passive Line-Level Splitter & Attenuator

The LX-2 performs the dual functions of splitting a line level audio signal and providing level attenuation where necessary. A premium Jensen transformer inside provides exceptional frequency response and phase coherency to ensure that the highest audio quality is maintained, while isolating the two outputs from each other to eliminate hum and buzz from ground loops. For situations where a level adjustment is required, the trim control on the LX-2 allows you to attenuate overly hot signals. This gives you the ability to drive your mic preamps hard to achieve coloration, while trimming the level at the LX-2 to avoid clipping the inputs of your recording interface. This trim control is activated by a recessed ‘set & forget’ switch; if attenuation is not needed, simply disengage this switch to prevent accidental and unwanted level adjustments.

Passive Line-Level Splitter

The LX-3 makes use of a premium Jensen transformer to leverage the industry's best combination of frequency response, signal level handling, and low distortion, providing the highest possible signal quality. It features two isolated outputs to eliminate hum and buzz from ground loops, along with a third direct output. All three XLR outputs have ground lift switches for additional noise suppression, and a switchable -12dB input pad allows you to connect even the hottest line outputs without fear of overloading or distortion. The input of the LX-3 is accessed with an XLR/TRS combo jack, which allows you to connect via balanced or unbalanced cables; the LX-3 will automatically balance the signal at the isolated outputs, preventing interference and signal degradation over long cable runs.

Radial LX8
R800 8200 00

Rackmount Line-Level Splitter & Isolator

The Radial LX8 is designed specifically to manage balanced signal splitting in professional audio systems. The single rack space design begins with a 100% passive circuit which means it does not require any power to operate. Inside, each of the eight channels is equipped with a premium Jensen® JT-123-SLPC transformer that is able to handle transients in excess of +26dB at all frequencies right down to 20Hz without audible distortion. This results in an accurate signal transfer with minimal phase shift or distortion. When used in larger systems, you benefit from significantly lower noise, making the LX8 the best choice for any demanding multi-channel audio system.

Radial mPress
R800 8010 00

Press Box & Signal Splitter

The mPress provides full control over any size of press gathering, from community gatherings to international events, and its modular design means it can grow to suit your needs. It features two balanced mic or line inputs with low-noise preamps and high-pass filters, along with a shared limiter to avoid clipping the inputs of any connected recording devices. Separate outputs are provided for a set of powered speakers, with dedicated program inputs that allow you to play background music through the PA when on standby, and a headphone output to silently monitor and cue up playback tracks. The main outputs are controlled separately from the press gallery signals, so you can make adjustments on the fly without affecting previously calibrated recording devices.

Radial Exo-Pod
R800 8012 00

Passive Line-Level Splitter

The Exo-Pod take a line-level XLR input and splits it cleanly to ten XLR outputs and four 3.5mm TRS jacks for connection to video cameras, hand-held recorders, tablets or other media systems. A variable input trim allows the broadcast technician to reduce the global output level locally for convenience, and all of the outputs are transformer isolated to eliminate hum and buzz that is often encountered due to ground loops. The XLR outputs are supplemented with individual ground lift switches to further abate noise, and an XLR thru connector allows multiple Exo-Pods to be linked together to provide an expandable solution to handle events of any size.
